A large number of our 111 calls are fakes put through by the type of young idiots that have almost taken over the world. Vandalism and thuggery is their way. Strangely together they are a very small minority of the population but have been wrapped in cotton wool and pampered. Now we see and feel the result!
Part of our process is to sit down with them and set out an individual learning plan to suit their needs. In a class of 14 students I only had 2 that actualy finished school let alone get qualifications. We use a process of e-learning where the student learns at their own pace and level and we 'facilitate' their learning. E-learning is now the buzz word in education as it dosent discriminate between the faster and slower student. If you slow the class for the benefit of the slowest learner the rest suffer and vice versa. This way we have students all learning at different levels at the same time. It is also roll on roll off, that is as one student finishes his place is taken by another, so we dont need seimesters and exams are taken as and when needed on line. The process has been received with high acclaim and is now part of the BECTA process on education (Becta is the Government's key partner in the strategic development and delivery of its information and communications technology (ICT) and e-learning strategy for the schools and the learning and skills sectors).

Who knows this policy may spread to main stream schools when they finally kick the next to useless A level exams and opt for a baccalaureate instead.

In response to:Heartache Hurts - God Do You Hear

Hi there
You are so right about placing a picture to represent my feelings, it would be a lot easier.
First let me thank you for your comment, what I was try to portray in the article, was God gets blamed for everything and I was aking him for a miracle to put everything right. It looks like it the message never came across as intended, but thank you for pointing that out.
Have a nice day Moondancer

Not sure that God has anything to do with disasters really, wasn't he supposed to turn over the world to our free will after Adam and Eve?

Wasn't Jesus supposed to forgive our sins - implying that we had the option to make them..

Isn't your prayer an accusation that God is to blame and he needs to learn how to understand us?

Nobody has all the answers but I also believe that children need fathers and the State not God is unfair..

Piece of advice - find a picture that represents your feelings and people will find it easier to interact..

Good fortune:-)
